History
Gentle Jane has had a varied career having been used in living memory as a butchers, a bakery, a milliner's workshop, a fishing lodge and a private house. Most recently it has been a film set for a film called The Baker starring Damien Lewis. It is now a Tea Room and B&B in which guise it stands ready to welcome you whether you are passing through or intending to stay to admire our splendid hills or even cool off in the glorious rivers.
